Making the wrong hire in a startup can be a big headache and distraction. Half of my role is helping our founders navigate this process – find someone that is a great cultural fit, who has the technical smarts, and understands their technologies and customers. Then to get them on board and keep them. The other half of my role is working with high calibre individuals to help them find exciting and fulfilling roles in our awesome portfolio companies.

In addition to having international experience at Charterhouse and Talent International, I understand the challenges of building a business. I founded and grew a successful IT&T recruitment agency – The Onset. Because of this, I spend a lot of time with founders understanding their ambition, personality and strengths, company culture, and their hiring requirements to ensure we get the best people into their organisation.

I get a huge buzzwhen I help someone find their dream role, so I spend a lot of time with smart and motivated candidates helping them find opportunities that really take advantage of their strengths.

I’ve been fortunate to help some of the country’s most successful startups including Canva, Prospa, Expert360, and Hyper Anna. Together we have attracted and retained world-class people for their teams – ultimately helping them achieve their business goals and commercial success.
