Lois Shaw

A true nomadic expatriate upbringing: I was born in Malaysia, grew up in Sydney, and spent time living in Portugal and India. I recently returned to Sydney after a stint in London. It's safe to say I love new adventures and the opportunity to travel and immerse in new cities and cultures. 

I've been in the business of community-building since 2013, with a particular affinity for female founders and the journey of entrepreneurship and all its peaks and troughs! I've had the privilege of working closely with many brilliant thought-leaders; careers highlights include travelling around Australia with Brene Brown, Arianna Huffington, Seth Godin and Richard Branson.

Startups are as invigorating as it gets! We're in the thick of one of the most exciting periods of ambition and innovation in human history. I love the opportunity to be privy to brilliant minds, developing pioneering ideas that have the power and potential to change the world (for the better!

 I'm passionate about the future generation of women breaking the status quo, finding their stride and shifting the gender balance in investing and closing the gender finance gap. 

Outside of work, I like loooong walks (not to be confused with hikes), and yoga is my ticket to mellowing out and reconnecting with myself. I'm also a serious bath enthusiast.
