Zak Islam

Zak Islam is an accomplished technology leader that recently joined Linktree as Chief Technology Officier, covering the engineering and product functions. Before Linktree, Zak spent three and a half years at Atlassian as the Head of Engineering for Tech Teams, which composed of products such as Jira Software, Jira Service Desk, Jira Align, Bitbucket, Opsgenie, Statuspage, and Compass. Prior to Atlassian, Zak was with Amazon Web Services (AWS) in leadership roles across Messaging and Workflow products between 2012 and 2018.

Zak has also operated in technical leadership roles across companies such as Varicent Software and Infor. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada.
