I’m Katie, Head of Fund Finance at Airtree. My role is all about keeping things balanced—whether it’s reconciling numbers or ensuring reports align perfectly. My passion for fund setup and management started early in my career, where I discovered and grew to appreciate the beauty of fund structures and making complex processes run smoothly. Since then, I’ve spent over a decade leading finance operations for private equity and venture capital firms across Asia. Joining Airtree is an exciting new chapter—a chance to bring my experience to a different part of the world and contribute to an inspiring team.

The energy and innovation coming out of startups has always fascinated me. Watching how technology evolves and impacts the way we live and work is truly inspiring. I believe technology is at the heart of shaping the future for the next generation, and being part of that movement motivates me every day.

For me, life is about learning and exploring, whether it’s snowboarding down a quiet mountain, crossing one peak after another, experimenting with photography, or diving into the latest tech. Those peaceful moments on the slopes or behind the lens remind me to savour the journey while embracing new challenges and opportunities.
