I love the fast pace of life in VC. Supporting founders, interacting with investors, managing teams, developing the sector... no two days are ever the same.

I’m very open and honest. There are too many things to get done in a day to beat around the bush.

After raising four funds (at AirTree and Accel), it’s been awesome to see the effect of the “returning entrepreneur”. Founders using proceeds from their successful exits to invest in the next generation.

CFOs are often the least networked, but with the most potential for shared learning. We solve for this by organising quarterly forums for the CFOs across the AirTree portfolio.

I grew up in a small village two hours north of London. I spent every waking hour of my childhood surrounded by horses, competing, exercising and clearing up after them! I look back on those times now and realise what a huge sacrifice my parents made, carting me to and from shows every weekend.

When I’m not busy with work I’m either running around after my two little girls, cycling, or playing netball.
